Your Journey, My Commitment

“We can’t go over it. We can’t go under it. Oh no! We’ve got to go through it.” —Michael Rosen, We’re Going on a Bear Hunt

The journey of therapy—confronting our experience, whether it’s grief, anxiety, fear, difficult relationships, or parts of ourselves we’ve avoided—can be painful, even frightening. But from my own experience, not just as a therapist but as a client too, I’ve learned this: the only way out is through. I know therapy can feel daunting. It takes real courage to sit with discomfort or step into the unknown. My role as a therapist is to be along side you in that, through each bend, obstacle, or low point— it's through this process that new ways of living emerge.

My work is relational at heart. I am committed to being honest with care. I believe one of the most compassionate things a therapist can offer is to show up fully and genuinely—and that’s what I’m committed to offering you.

How I came to this work

Before becoming a therapist, I worked in the City of London in a high paced corporate environment. At the time, I was dealing with grief but did what many people do—kept myself distracted—'busy'—unwittingly avoiding the pain. Over time, though, I began to feel increasingly disconnected from myself and from what really mattered. Eventually, things reached a point where I knew I had to seek support. That moment of reaching out was the beginning of true change. It’s what eventually brought me here.

Therapy wasn’t a quick fix, but it gave me the space to connect with myself again—to discover the parts I’d buried and begin to live in a way that felt more real. That experience continues to shape how I show up in my work with clients— engaged and authentic with care.

Qualifications & Experience

I trained for over seven years at one of Europe’s leading integrative psychotherapy institutions and hold a post-graduate diploma accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Alongside my private practice, I’ve supported clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and grief in community organisations, including Mind in Camden and Camden Council’s family and parental support services. I'm currently undertaking Masters-level research into vulnerability.
